Originally, the Schooner "American Eagle" was once a Gloucester fishing vessel for fifty odd years. Here she is docked at Cruiseport Gloucester during the 2012 Schooner Festival - photos by Anthony Marks

Originally, the Schooner "American Eagle" was once a Gloucester fishing vessel for fifty
odd years owned by the father in law and his brothers (the Piscitello's)
 of Anthony Marks, the photographer.

The schooner American Eagle was the last  schooner built in Gloucester, it was built in Vincent’s cove were the electric company is now next to Gorton’s. 
she was launched sideways.
