The Schooner American Eagle docked at
Cruiseport Gloucester during the  2012 Schooner Festival.

Originally, the Schooner "American Eagle" was once a Gloucester fishing vessel for fifty
odd years owned by the father in law and his brothers (the Piscitello's)
 of Anthony Marks, the photographer.
She is now a Windjammer in Maine. http://www.schooneramericaneagle.com/

The schooner American Eagle was the last  schooner built in Gloucester, it was built in Vincent’s cove were the electric company is now next to Gorton’s.
she was launched sideways.
